Privacy Policy for Drop 2048

Drop 2048 ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile game published by IaaH in Germany. The Game provides single-player gameplay, optional rewarded and other advertisements, in-app purchases, Google Play Games features, optional multiplayer features, local notifications, and local game-progress storage.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Game, how third-party services may process information, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Process

Drop 2048 is designed to store your game progress and settings locally on your device.

The Game may store the following information locally:

  • Coins, rewards, inventory, scores, levels, and unlocked items.
  • Current game progress, challenges, and reward progress.
  • Sound, haptic, gameplay, and notification settings.
  • The multiplayer nickname chosen by you.
  • The local status of completed or restored in-app purchases.
  • Transaction-related status used to prevent duplicate purchase rewards.

This locally stored information is not automatically transmitted to IaaH or stored on an IaaH-operated server. You can remove local application data by using your device settings or by uninstalling the Game.

The Game does not require you to create an account directly with IaaH. We do not intentionally request your email address, password, phone number, contacts, precise location, photographs, camera access, or microphone recordings.

Crash and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics):

The Game uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to identify and fix crashes and errors. When Crashlytics data collection is enabled, it may collect crash reports, stack traces, non-fatal errors, relevant app state, device metadata, and a Crashlytics installation identifier. Our integration may add diagnostic details such as app and Unity versions, build type, scene name, game mode, current round drop count and highest tier, paused or game-over status, and the source of a non-fatal error. Error messages and stack traces may contain text generated by the Game or third-party SDKs. We do not intentionally add email addresses, passwords, multiplayer nicknames, or save files as Crashlytics custom fields. This information is sent to Google/Firebase for crash diagnosis and is not sent to an IaaH-operated server. Google’s privacy policy and Firebase terms apply to its processing and retention.

2. Google Play Games Services

The Game may use Google Play Games Services for sign-in, cloud saves, and leaderboards.

When you use these features, Google Play Games may process information associated with your Google Play Games profile, including:

  • Your Google Play Games account or player identifier.
  • Scores submitted to leaderboards.
  • Game progress and settings used for cloud saves.
  • Device and service information required to provide Google Play Games.

The Game does not receive or store your Google password. Google may process this information according to Google's own privacy policy and terms.

You can choose not to sign in to Google Play Games. If you do not use Google Play Games, cloud saves and leaderboards may not be available.

3. Multiplayer Features

The Game may provide optional multiplayer matches using Mirror/KCP networking components.

When you join a multiplayer match, the Game may transmit:

  • The nickname selected by you.
  • Your score and player status.
  • Match configuration and game state.
  • In-game actions, attacks, and other gameplay events.

This information may be visible to other players in the same match. Please do not use your real name, email address, telephone number, or other sensitive information as your multiplayer nickname.

The network connection may also involve technical information such as an IP address, port information, connection timestamps, and device or network metadata. This information may be necessary to establish and maintain the multiplayer connection. IaaH does not intentionally store this technical connection information in the Game's local save data.

4. Advertising Services

The Game uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner ads, interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads.

Google Mobile Ads may process information such as:

  • Device model, operating system, language, country, and app information.
  • Advertising identifiers or other device identifiers.
  • IP address and approximate location inferred from network information.
  • Ad requests, impressions, clicks, and rewarded-ad events.
  • Diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and advertising-performance information.

The Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required. Depending on your location, consent status, device settings, and applicable law, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

You may:

  • Consent to personalized advertising where available.
  • Decline consent.
  • Manage or change your advertising choices when privacy options are available in your region.
  • Limit advertising identifiers through your device settings.

Rewarded ads are optional. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the Game may provide an in-game benefit such as continuing a game, doubling coins, or receiving another reward.

5. In-App Purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases, including virtual coins and the removal of certain advertisements.

Payment processing is handled by the applicable app store, such as Google Play, using the store's billing services and Unity In-App Purchasing. We do not receive or store your credit card number, bank information, or store password.

The Game may receive information such as:

  • The purchased product identifier.
  • The purchase or entitlement status.
  • Whether a purchase has been completed or restored.

The Game stores the local entitlement status on your device so that purchased content can be provided and relevant advertisements can be disabled. Google Play or the applicable app store remains responsible for payment processing, refunds, and payment information.

6. Local Notifications

If you enable notifications and grant the required device permission, the Game may schedule local reminder notifications, including a reminder approximately 24 hours after you leave the Game.

These notifications are scheduled locally by your device. The Game does not use a separate server-based push-notification system for these reminders.

You can disable notifications in the Game settings or in your device settings.

7. App Permissions and Device Features

Depending on your Android version and the features you use, the Game may request permission to send notifications and may require network access for advertisements, Google Play Games, purchases, or multiplayer matches.

These features are used to:

  • Display optional local notifications.
  • Connect to Google Play Games Services.
  • Request and display advertisements.
  • Verify in-app purchases.
  • Establish multiplayer matches.

The Game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location.

The Game uses third-party services and software components, including:

  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
  • Google Play Games Services.
  • Google Play billing services.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google), used to diagnose crashes and errors.
  • Unity In-App Purchasing and Unity runtime services.
  • Mirror/KCP multiplayer networking components.

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. IaaH does not control all information processed by these services.

The Game may also open external pages, such as Google Play or provider pages. Once you leave the Game, the privacy practices of the external website or service apply.

The Apple reference applies only if the Game is distributed through an Apple platform.

9. Data Retention

Local game progress, settings, nickname, purchase entitlement status, and other local application data remain on your device until you delete them, clear the Game's data, or uninstall the Game.

Multiplayer information is used for the duration of the match and for the technical time needed to operate or secure the multiplayer session. IaaH does not intentionally operate a permanent multiplayer profile or backend database for the Game's local save data.

Information processed by Google Mobile Ads, Google UMP, Google Play Games, Google Play billing, Apple, Unity, or other third-party services is retained and handled by those services according to their own policies and retention practices.

10. Children's Privacy

Drop 2048 is a general-purpose mobile game and is not specifically directed toward children.

The Game does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The Game does not require users to create an IaaH account or provide their email address, phone number, contacts, photographs, precise location, or similar direct identifiers.

Google's consent and advertising systems may apply additional age-appropriate protections depending on the user's region, account settings, and applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

11. Security and Privacy Rights

We take reasonable measures to protect the Game and information handled by the Game. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure. The security of locally stored data also depends on the security settings and protection of your device.

If you are in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with applicable data-protection rights, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request and protect against responding to the wrong person. If your request concerns data held directly by Google, Apple, an app store, or another independent provider, you may also need to contact that provider because IaaH may not be able to access or delete those records.

You can control your privacy choices by:

  • Choosing whether to sign in to Google Play Games.
  • Declining or managing advertising consent when the Google UMP message is displayed.
  • Limiting advertising identifiers through your device settings.
  • Choosing whether to join multiplayer matches.
  • Choosing the nickname used in multiplayer.
  • Enabling or disabling local notifications.
  • Deleting local application data or uninstalling the Game.
  • Choosing whether to make an in-app purchase.
